Understanding NET
At Domain Mind Body, we recognise that physical symptoms are not always purely physical. Stress, past experiences, and unresolved emotions can influence how the body functions and heals. One technique we use to support this mind–body connection is Neuro Emotional Technique (NET).
NET is a gentle, structured approach designed to help identify and resolve unresolved emotional stress patterns that may be contributing to physical symptoms or ongoing discomfort
The Mind–Body Connection
When we experience stress, whether acute or ongoing, the body activates a survival response. Ideally, once the stress has passed, the nervous system settles back into balance.
However, sometimes emotional stress becomes “stored” in the body. This can lead to persistent muscle tension, recurring pain patterns, heightened anxiety, or symptoms that don’t fully resolve despite treatment.
NET works by identifying these stress responses and helping the nervous system release outdated patterns, allowing the body to respond more appropriately in the present.

During a NET session, practitioners use a combination of:
- Muscle testing to assess stress responses

The goal is not to relive trauma, but to help the nervous system recalibrate so it no longer reacts as if past stressors are still happening.
